The mayor of Meoqui highlighted the collaborative work with the community at a neighborhood meeting to complete these projects.

The mayor of Meoqui, Architect Miriam Soto, announced the paving of Fresno and Álamo Streets in Estación Consuelo, following a meeting with community residents. The works are about to begin and will be carried out hand in hand with the population. She emphasized that the municipality is ready to begin the works, which are projected to be completed by the end of July or the beginning of August, provided that active citizen participation is maintained: "We set a goal, and if the residents are ready to cooperate, we are also ready to begin."

"We need everyone's collaboration to make the resources go further and reach more projects throughout the municipality," said Miriam Soto, highlighting the importance of collaborative work between the government and the community. She noted that a roof was recently installed at the Telesecundaria school in Estación Consuelo, financed with her own resources, reaffirming her commitment to education.

He also reported on similar meetings held with residents of the Obrera neighborhood, particularly on Uruguay and Paraguay streets, and in the Cantabrian Mountains, to monitor infrastructure projects that directly benefit residents.

Finally, the mayor reiterated her commitment to community outreach, as demonstrated by the "Wednesdays with Your Mayor" program, which in its most recent edition provided more than 100 community services. "It's always a pleasure to work hand in hand with the citizens. They are very participative and set an example for us," she concluded.
