City of Chihuahua, Chih., June 17, 2025.- The Municipal Government, through the Directorate of Human Development and Education, reminds that this June 20th the registration closes to be part of the Cabildo Joven 2025, a call aimed at young people between 16 and 26 years old residing in the municipality of Chihuahua.
This Youth Council program seeks to encourage the participation of young people in the development of youth policies. It also provides them with the opportunity to learn firsthand about the roles of public servants and put their acquired knowledge into practice in a simulation of a regular session of the Chihuahua City Council.
To register, you must meet the following requirements:
* Complete the online or in-person registration form within the established period.
* Have a copy of a valid voter registration card (INE) and a valid address in the municipality.
* If you are a minor, present a copy of your CURP (Customer Registration Number), a letter of authorization signed by a parent or guardian, and a copy of your INE (National Electoral Registry).
* Provide a copy of proof of address valid for no more than three months.
* Submit an unpublished two-page essay answering the question: Why should young people get involved in municipal politics?
The procedure can be carried out in two ways:

* In person: At the Subdirectorate of Youth Care, located at De la Cantera Avenue S / N, Campestre I Stage, Panamericana. Business hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., on business days.
The results will be announced through the official social media channels of the Directorate of Human Development and Education.
