Mayor Miriam Soto led the paving of Diego Lucero and Tomochi streets in the Francisco Villa neighborhood, with an investment of more than 300,000 pesos. This project resolves a long-standing problem of stagnant water in the area.
During the event, he expressed his satisfaction at seeing the joy of the residents, who shared that they had been waiting for this improvement for more than 20 years. “Perhaps because they were small sections, they went unnoticed, but they also had a serious problem: every time it rained, the water would stagnate. Today we are solving that problem by draining the water from both sides,” he explained.
Miriam Soto emphasized that for her administration, all streets are equally important, regardless of their size. “We know what change means for people, how it improves their image, health, and safety, especially for children. You can't imagine how these streets have transformed with paving,” she stated.
