El Gobierno Municipal de Guachochi informó que la jornada de votación correspondiente al ejercicio de Presupuesto Participativo 2025 se llevó a cabo con éxito y alta participación ciudadana

He indicated that through this democratic exercise, children, youth, and adults in the municipality were able to choose the projects they consider most necessary for their communities, based on the project submissions submitted by community groups.   Voting took place at 11 locations throughout the municipality, where each participant cast their vote for one or two projects, including proposals focused on infrastructure, lighting, sports facilities, and educational facilities.   The project with the highest number of votes was the EMSAD School Equipment Project in Rocheachi, which received 1,040 votes, making it the winning proposal of this edition.   "The Municipal Government extends special thanks to the State Electoral Institute (IEE) for its collaboration in staff training, as well as for facilitating the use of computer equipment for voting, thus strengthening transparency and trust in the process," he indicated.   Finally, he congratulated all the citizens of Guachochi for their active participation, especially highlighting the inclusion of children and youth in this exercise, which strengthens the principles of participation and co-responsibility in public decision-making.

Lo anterior, debido a un canal de baja presión, inestabilidad atmosférica, circulación anticiclónica en niveles medios y el ingreso de humedad desde el Golfo de México y del océano Pacífico, fenómenos que contribuirán a mantener una onda de calor persistente sobre gran parte del territorio chihuahuense. Las máximas estimadas para este martes son: Chihuahua 40 °C, Juárez 41,  Ojinaga 43, Delicias 40, Camargo y Janos 39, Parral 36, Bocoyna 30, Guachochi 29 y Balleza 28 °C. Estas condiciones aumentan el riesgo de golpes de calor, deshidratación y complicaciones médicas, especialmente en grupos vulnerables como niñas, niños, personas adultas mayores y quienes padecen enfermedades crónicas. La CEPC exhorta a evitar la exposición directa al sol durante las horas de mayor radiación, estar hidratado en todo momento, vestir ropa ligera y clara, y no dejar personas ni mascotas en vehículos cerrados, así como tener especial cuidado al conducir en zonas donde puede haber tolvaneras. Gradúa Policía Municipal a alumnos de primaria Oscar Soto Máynez del programa DARE

H. Chihuahua City, Chih. June 17, 2025.- After several weeks of training by municipal police officers, 69 girls and boys from the afternoon shift of the Oscar Soto Máynez elementary school, located in the Unidad Cuauhtémoc neighborhood, graduated from the course "Education to Resist Drug Use and Violence" (DARE). These classes were held over a five-week period thanks to the efforts of the officers assigned to this police group, part of the Public Security Directorate. For nearly two decades, this group has focused on preventing all types of addictions and violent behavior among children and adolescent students. DARE agents use a specialized teaching methodology and work with thousands of students, teachers, and even parents each year, providing presentations related to bullying, the risks and consequences of substance use, dating violence, and knowledge of what to do when faced with strangers, stress management, basic rules of social interaction, and the correct use of the 911 emergency number, among other topics. City of Chihuahua, Chih., June 17, 2025.- The Municipal Government, through the Directorate of Human Development and Education, reminds that this June 20th the registration closes to be part of the Cabildo Joven 2025, a call aimed at young people between 16 and 26 years old residing in the municipality of Chihuahua. This Youth Council program seeks to encourage the participation of young people in the development of youth policies.
